Hi there! I'm Janell, mom of three girls, wife to a sports fanatic and lover of all things artistic. Which includes, of course, photography! I started JMarbrey Photography because I was constantly taking pictures of my three little gems (my kiddos, I mean), and developed an eye on how to make them look just right... on my iPhone! My eyes somehow trained themselves and I began seeing the world through a photographer's lens, always seeing what would make the scene in front of me "picture perfect". While I loved my iPhone (and still use it all the time to capture day to day moments and post Instagram photos on my personal account), I knew if I had a "professional camera", I'd have everything I needed to take my photos and abilities to the next level. My friends began to take notice of my ability to frame and compose even everyday photos, and they began to encourage me to take the next step. Then ultimately, my super supportive hubby convinced me to take the plunge and launch JMarbrey Photography.

I'm so glad I did!! Since then, I've been so blessed and honored to have captured so many memories of weddings, birthday parties, special family events and have frozen young faces in time and have seen them grow as returning clients over the years.

In my spare time (which is limited with three little ones, let me tell ya!), I enjoy crafting, volunteering with Young Life (a youth outreach ministry), and of course, taking pictures!
